LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: I live, work, and play in Amiskwaciwâskahikan / ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Edmonton, Alberta), the unceded ancestral gathering place, travelling route, and home for many Indigenous Peoples including the Nehiyawak/Cree, Tsuut'ina, Niitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Haudenosaunee/Iroquois, Dene Suliné, Anishinaabe/Ojibway/Saulteaux, and the Inuk/Inuit. I seek to co-create a future where we can correct our collective wrong doings and build harmonious communities that honor these roots and make space for our many beautiful divergencies. I thank the First Peoples who continue to live on these lands, care for them, and share their knowledge, as well as all who came before them.
